A regional HR group with deep local roots
People Profilers is an independent HR group across Southeast Asia — recruitment, executive search, EOR, payroll, and advisory. Founded in Singapore in 2002 with Malaysia operations established 2023 (JTKSM Lesen C No. 1432), we operate across five markets through nine locally-incorporated entities, with on-the-ground teams in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

Our Story
The group founding
The belief was simple: recruitment, done properly, is one of the only businesses where ethical sales is the only sale that works. It isn't about selling — it's about helping, supporting, and servicing clients well enough that they come back. Year after year. For decades.
Matthew Lim registered People Profilers in Singapore as a sole proprietorship on 9 September 2002 (ROC #52977389M), under one tagline: "Profiling the right people for every profession."
Singapore Pte. Ltd. incorporated
People Profilers Pte. Ltd. is incorporated in Singapore on 15 December 2006, with full MOM Employment Agency Licence. The team grows from one consultant to a multi-vertical practice across 15 specialist industries.
Two specialist arms in Singapore
People Profilers (Executive Search) Pte. Ltd. launches for senior-leadership, regional director, and C-suite mandates. In parallel, People Profilers (Services) Pte. Ltd. is established to deliver EOR, payroll outsourcing, and contract staffing under a dedicated entity.
Regional expansion begins
Vietnam offices open in 2018 (People Profilers Vietnam LLC), followed by Bangkok in 2022 (People Profilers Bangkok Recruitment Co., Ltd.). The service mix broadens beyond recruitment to a full Talent + Employer + Advisory group: executive search, EOR, manpower outsourcing, payroll management, and HR advisory.
Malaysia operations established
The group enters Malaysia with two locally-incorporated entities, both registered on 10 April 2023: Agensi Pekerjaan People Profilers Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (APPPMY) — holding JTKSM Employment Agency Licence C No. 1432 for recruitment, executive search, and work pass services — and People Profilers (Services) Sdn. Bhd. (PPSMY) for EOR and payroll outsourcing. Malaysia becomes a key SEA delivery hub for the group.
Indonesia entry
PT People Profilers Services is incorporated in Jakarta on 19 September 2025, completing the group's 5-market Southeast Asian footprint across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

People Profilers Malaysia is part of a Southeast Asia HR group operating across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia through nine locally-licensed entities. The founding belief has held since 2002: many of the clients who came to the group in its earliest years still work with us today across the region.

Every entity in every country is locally licensed. We never operate through informal arrangements, franchise structures, or third-party intermediaries. When we recruit across borders, you have a single regulated counterparty in each market.
