What is Employer of Record (EOR) and when do companies need it?

EOR means People Profilers legally employs your workers in a country where you do not have a registered entity. We handle employment contracts, statutory compliance (EPF, HRDF, SOCSO, SOCSO, EA Form), and payroll while you direct the day-to-day work. Companies use EOR to test new markets, hire remote talent, or onboard regional staff quickly without entity-setup cost.

How is EOR different from payroll outsourcing?

EOR means we are the legal employer of your workers (used when you have no entity in that country). Payroll Outsourcing means you remain the legal employer; we run the monthly payroll cycle for workers you already employ. Use EOR for market entry; use payroll outsourcing when you already have an entity and want to outsource the operational payroll work.

Which countries can you provide EOR services in?

People Profilers provides EOR services in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia — all through our 9 locally-licensed entities. We do not rely on third-party EOR aggregators; the legal employer is our own entity in each market.

Are you compliant with EPF, LHDN and KSM requirements?

Yes. All Malaysia payroll operations are EPF Board, LHDN, and KSM compliant. We handle EPF contributions, HRDF, SOCSO, SOCSO, income tax deductions, statutory filings (EA Form, CP21), and Malaysia work-pass payroll requirements. Equivalent compliance applies in our other four markets via locally-licensed entities.
